The GEICO AMA MiniMotoSX presented by Monster Energy

The GEICO AMA MiniMotoSX presented by Monster Energy will kick off for the eighth consecutive year now the AMA Supercross finals weekend in Vegas with action packed racing culminating in the ten separate main events on Friday, May 6th.  Entries are now open at www.minimotosx.com and the new South Point Hotel host has ticket and room packages available at www.southpointeventscenter.com/events/11-minimotosx.php.

With over 500 riders expected again, some practice and qualifying will take place on Thursday, May 5th.  After seven years at the Orleans Arena, the event will make a one year stop at the South Point Arena due to a scheduling conflict.  But the new venue is only five years old and is a great location, visible from Interstate 15 as you head into Sin City from the South.  It has a larger floor to work with so that will make for more space and longer lap times for the riders.  "MiniMotoSX always provides a lot of great action as it provides an opportunity for riders to experience the pressure of racing in front of a packed arena" noted Mike Karsting, the VP of events for Source Interlink.
