Working from a race-paddock environment, the Lanes Kawasaki squad, together with British sensation Scott Elderfield, will make their debut. Having clinched both Masters MX1 and MX2 Pro titles, Scott is sure to be in demand and he'll be on hand throughout the show to sign posters and chat with fans. The unveiling of the new Twisted7 Kawasaki team is another first for the show. Running riders in all the youth classes of BYMX, MXY2 and the Red Bull Elite, the initiative is the brainchild of MX guru Jeff Perrett, and he will be available on the stand to talk to prospective riders and product supporters.
The Kawasaki experience does not stop there, far from it. Official KMUK MX Team, Maxxis Henderson LPE Kawasaki will be in attendance, lining up alongside a display of championship-winning machinery. On show will be the winning KX250F's of Connor Walkley and Lee Dunham, together with the stunning machines ridden by Kristian Whatley and Gert Krestinov. Visitors can also expect to find those respective riders on, or around the Kawasaki stand during the show.
Speaking about Kawasaki's return to the UK's premier off road showcase, Racing Coordinator for KMUK, Ross Burridge stressed the importance of the show to Kawasaki.
"This event is 100 per cent dedicated to off-road machinery and off-road sport. That gives Kawasaki a massive opportunity to connect with a core audience, to show them next year's bikes and provide a welcome chance to meet the riders and the teams."
Whilst Kawasaki is currently enjoying sole-billing in terms of Japanese official participation at the International Dirt Bike Show, the manufacturer will be in good company. KTM will be celebrating its World MX1 and MX2 domination with an impressive show line-up of multi-championship factory race steeds and 2011 stock bikes; Husaberg will display its all-new two-strokes; the TE250 and 300; Husqvarna will launch an all-new enduro and motocross version of its radically-designed 449 series; Rieju will be showcasing its 2011 enduro and supermoto range of machines, made in Spain and powered by Yamaha; and CCM will have the C-XR230 and Puzey XTR4 range lining up alongside its 2010 race bikes.
Will the rest of the Japanese join them?
