This being said, the rest of the boot has nothing in common with a supermoto boot, as they are a lot more durable, to deal with the strains of motocross riding.

The double hinge was designed with protection in mind. This has been the pure focal point for the Tech 10 Alpinestars Boots, although thanks to the hinges, they now offer a lot more flexibility than before! The amount of flexibility that is now offered means that it is not only easier to ride, but it actually puts less strain on the knee and ankle area.

Weight reduction was something that they consistently kept in mind when developing the Tech 10 Alpinestars Boots. Previous boots such as the Tech 8’s offered excellent support, protection and flexibility, but the weight of the boot was slightly questionable. The new Tech 10’s now offer extreme grip, and an extremely lightweight lower structure.

Pricing

Replacement parts

The Tech 10 Alpinestars Boots have a comfy biomechanical inner bootie, which is both washable and fully replaceable, which means you don’t have to junk the boot, just because the inner bootie has seen better days. The same applies for the likes of the buckles. They have been produced using much stronger materials than before, but it is wise to get some fresh straps and buckles every now and then.

Boot Graphics

Believe it or not, they now offer graphics kits for their Tech 10’s. These are great when you have just purchased a boot, or great when they are a year old or so, giving them fresh appeal. The graphics are die cut decals made with vinyl material which last extremely long. They are available in a range of colors and come in two different sizes. Prices for the decals are $59.95.
