Team Rockstar Energy Polaris Racing in full force at the renowned Toronto International Snowmobile

In full force at the renowned Toronto International Snowmobile,ATV and Powersports Show (Oct. 15-17),the Team Rockstar Energy Polaris Racing with crew chief Adam Robinson and sled drivers Iain Hayden and Lee Butler manning the frontlines.

The show, the largest of its kind in the world, was the first major public showing of the 2011 Polaris Assault snowmobile, the same model the factory team will use to campaign the CSRA National Championship in Canada. In addition to the Canadian national points chase, the team will also contest the CSRA’s regional tour as well as selected ISOC World Championship rounds in the United States, to assure maximum exposure for Minnesota-based Polaris Industries.

The Toronto International Snowmobile, ATV and PowersportsShow recorded an impressive attendance figure of 26,775 sled enthusiasts. Numerous visitors flocked to the Team Rockstar Energy Polaris Racing display area, where Hayden and Butler signed autographs for snowcross racing fans. In total the team handed out 1,000 posters and thousands of stickers to promote the team and the upcoming snowcross racing season.

“We were thrilled with the response we received at our display. The show was a great place to introduce Iain and Lee to race fans for a meet-and-greet. We’re all excited about the upcoming season and putting Polaris in the winner’s circle,” said Adam Robinson. “Team spirit is definitely high. We’ve got a great bunch of technical guys and with Iain and Lee we have two of the best drivers on the circuit. The equipment we’ll be running will be second to none. We’ll be hitting snow-country real soon to start dialling things in so we’re on top of our game when the season starts.”

Hayden, who was runner-up in the CSRA Pro Open title chase last season, has won three National Championship titles. His teammate, Butler, is a two-time pro champ. Butler’s most recent title win was in the CSRA Pro Open division last season. Butler won a CSRA championship for Polaris a few years ago and together with Hayden is focused on bringing the manufacturer back to a point where they will be in contention for another Canadian title.

With the rapidly approaching racing season, which kicks off in mid-December, Team Rockstar Energy Polaris Racing will start testing and fine-tuning the Assault racing sleds in early November.
