“What kind of Yamaha are you”? Is the trademarked slogan that Yamaha has been using for quite some time now, not only is it different but it’s catchy and really lets you see all the different kind of products Yamaha has to offer through their fantastic marketing and ad campaigns. Where that slogan came from, I personally have no idea, but I know that it likely came from Yamaha’s desire and innovation process to become different. Whether it is the YZ400F, the first four stroke motocross bike Yamaha made, to their all new sleek and stylish YZ250F. Yamaha wanted to be different and introduced some backwards thinking into the market, literally, when they launched their 2010 YZ450F and carried it on to 2011.
